Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch December 14, 1908
                           VERDICT IN KELLY CASE.
That Thomas Kelly came to his death by being accidentally run over by a train on 
the tracks of the Norfolk and Western Railway on Wednesday morning, December 9th, 
was the verdict of the coroner's jury, which today held an inquest over Kelly's 
body. Kelly died at the St. Vincent's Hospital last Friday night and his body was 
buried by the city this afternoon. One of his legs was cut off and the other badly 
crushed.
