Marie Sansone Kelly, 80, of the 7400 block of Spartan Ave., died Jan. 16, 1998, in 
a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Kelly was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She retired from the 
U.S. Civil Service at the U.S. Naval Supply Center after 30 years of employment. 
She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Norfolk, and was a member of 
Women's Transportation Club of Tidewater.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie L. Adams, and her husband, Paul, of Norfolk; a 
sister, Anna S. Spinella of Springfield, Va.; a brother, B. Leonard Sansone, of 
Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Kristin E. Legare and her husband, Edward, of 
Norfolk, and Bruce V. Montgomery and his wife, Sharon, of Platte City, Miss.; and 
two great-grandchildren, Amber and Taylor Montgomery. Mrs. Kelly lived her life 
for her family and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. 
Pius X Catholic Church by the Rev. William J. Dale. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apts., Norfolk.
