Lawrence J. Kelly - Funeral services for Mr. Kelly, whose death occurred Tuesday 
at a local hospital, were held at 10 o’clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church, with the Rev. Paul V. Heller officiating. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. 
Thomas E. Waters and the Rev. Patrick J. Tierney were in the sanctuary. During the 
service, Mrs. Stark A. Sutton sang, “My God, My Father, While I Stray,” with Prof. 
J. Harvey Stevens as organist. There was a large attendance and many floral 
offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, pink roses and 
fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John T. Godfrey, James J. Scullion, George M. Heppel, J. T. 
Holland, George W. Hill, T. J. Hanlon, John B. Kilgour, George L. Proescher and 
Melzer F. Orr.
