Virginian-Pilot  March 30, 1940
Mrs. Alice Reilly Kelly, widow of John J. Kelly and daughter of the late James 
and Mrs. Ellen Reilly, died at her residence, 617 West Twenty-sixth street, last 
night at 8:05 o’clock. Mrs. Kelly was a native of Ireland, and had been a 
resident of Norfolk for 45 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church and the Sodality of that church. Mrs. Kelly is survived by one daughter, 
Mrs. Michael J. Walsh; one grandson, Michael J. Walsh, Jr., and a 
grand¬daughter, Alice Kelly Walsh, all of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday morning at 
10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be 
held at the residence Sunday night at 8 o’clock.
