Virginian-Pilot, October 25, 1906
The funeral of Mrs Johannah Kelly, wife of John Kelly, was solemnized from St 
Mary's Catholic Church at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning. Requiem mass was 
celebrated by Rev Father John Doherty, pastor of the church. There was a 
profusion of beautiful floral tributes, the casket being covered with a lovely 
floral pall. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, and the pall-
bearers were as follows: John J O'Keefe, E C Cheshire, W J Scultalus, J Aubrey 
Butt, Hugh V Butt, J E Prince, George Dow and Joseph J Hennelly.
