Dennis Edward Kelly, 84, son of the late Dennis J. and Mrs. Mary O’Brien Kelly, 
died Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. at a local hospital. A life-long resident of 
Norfolk, he resided at 5 Baylor Street.
Surviving are fourteen nieces, Mrs. Annie Crawley, Mrs. B. W. Tunstall, Mrs. J. 
R. Hooper, Mrs. J. S. Mahone, Mrs. Patrick O'Brien, Miss Annie Kelly, Mrs. Katie 
Pacini, Mrs. A. B. Daughtry, Mrs. Dora Hogsett, Mrs. Charlotte Bibb and Mrs. 
Agnes Murden, of Norfolk; Mrs. Mary K. Tebo, of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Mary 
Hirschler, of New York, and Mrs. Stella Hurst, of Abelle, Md.; four nephews, 
Elton and Joe Kelly, and Joseph and James McNurney, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for services at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. 
Rosary services will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 
7:30 o’clock.
