Edward H. Kelly, husband of Mrs. Emma J. Kelly, a resident of Norfolk for the 
past 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at 1:40 o’clock at the residence, 1348 
Magnolia avenue. Mr. Kelly was a member of Norfolk Aerie No. 163, Fraternal 
Order of Eagles. Besides his wife, Mrs. Emma J. Kelly, he is survived by one 
son, Dr. Joseph E. Kelly, of Hopewell, and a granddaughter, Patricia L. Kelly, 
of Hopewell. The body was removed to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments pending 
arrangements.

KELLY, EDWARD H. - At the residence, No. 1348 Magnolia avenue, Wednesday, April 
12, 1944, at 1:40 o’clock p.m., EDWARD, husband of Mrs. Emma J. Kelly. Remains 
will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial 
avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services THIS (Friday) MORNING 
at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
