P. C. Bambrick officiating. The Rev. P. C. Blackburn was present in the sanctuary. In his address at the conclusion of the mass, Father Blackburn spoke on the uncertainty of life and of the importance of being prepared for death. There was a huge attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, roses and fern. During the service, several selections were rendered by the choir of St. Mary’s Academy, with Mrs. Joseph Lex as organist. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were Michael Walsh, James Wheeler, A. B. Daughtrey, Joseph Kelley, Samuel Crowling, Charles Reilly, Jr., James E. Prince and Thomas McKiernan.
