Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 24, 1922

Mrs. Marion Jane Kemp, 70 years old, wife of William Kemp, died at the 
residence, 2629 Church Street, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Kemp was a 
native and life long resident of Norfolk. She is survived by her husband, two 
daughters, Mrs. J. Henry Thurman and Mrs. Joseph B. Ennis; two sons, William L. 
and George P. Kemp and four grandchildren. She also is survived by a brother, 
William Gaylord, all of Norfolk. 
The funeral will be conducted from St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock 
Tuesday morning. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

at 4 o’clock a.m., MARION JANE KEMP, wife of William A. Kemp, in the 71st year 
of her age. Funeral services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church TUESDAY MORNING at 10 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
