NORFOLK - Mrs. Agnes Marie Kemp, 74, of 4500 Mayflower Drive, died in a hospital 
Thursday.
She was the widow of William Linwood Kemp and the daughter of James W. and Mrs. 
Virginia Meyers Lanigan.
A Norfolk native, she was a lifelong resident of this area.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of 
America, Christ Child Society, Blessed Sacrament Women’s Club, and Catholic 
Middle Age Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Theodore N. Bacalis and Mrs. William T. 
Wommack, and two grandsons, all of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8:30.
A funeral service will be held in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Painter 
Street and Newport Avenue, Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
The family will be at 1133 Rockbridge Ave.
