Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, September 27, 1990 
James Sandy Kennedy, of the 4300 block of Gosnold Ave., died Sept. 26, 1990, in
a hospital.

Mr. Kennedy, a native of South Carolina, had retired from the transportation
department of the Norfolk Naval Supply Center after 30 years. He was a member
and eucharistic minister of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was an Army
veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, M. Antoinette Kennedy; a daughter, Pamela K. Dismond
of California; two sons, Miles Dismond and Eddie Dismond, both of Norfolk; and
two sisters, Catherine K. Carmichael of New York and Lue Belle Kennedy of Florida.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Riddick Funeral Service by
the Rev. Jesse L. London. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be
from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends may join the family at the
residence.
