Kennedy, and daughter of the late Judge C. Madis Day, of New Orleans, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. L. O. Eaton, 1000 Westover avenue, yesterday afternoon at 5:40 o'clock. Mrs. Kennedy was a member of the Presbyterian Church and an active worker in that church for a number of years. During her younger life, she devoted much of her time to mission work with a group of Chinese. She also was active in the King's Daughters' work here. She was a charter member of the Woman's Club and served for some time on the board of governors until ill health forced her resignation. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Eaton, she is survived by a son, George M. Kennedy, of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Pennel Cooper, of Palmyra, N.J.; three grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
