Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday October 28, 1943 
Mrs. Sarah Tredwell Kennedy, widow of William H. Kennedy, and daughter of the 
late Adam and Mrs. May Baker Tredwell, a native and former resident of 
Norfolk, died Tuesday night at Pine Bluff, Ark. 
Surviving her are, one son, William H. Kennedy, Jr., and two grandsons of Pine 
Bluff, and a sister Miss Mary Tredwell, of Norfolk. 
Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
Avenue, to Elmwood Cemetery, for services at the grave, this morning at 11 
o’clock, with the Rev. Moultrie Guerry, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 
officiating.
