NORFOLK - Lydia Frances Kent, 83, of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., 
passed away Oct. 16, 2005, at Sentara Leigh Hospital. She was born July 31, 
1922, in Wilson, N.C. Lydia was a member of Fellowship Church of God In Christ, 
where she was the church mother and a missionary. 

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted grandson, Craig Craddock; three 
grandsons; four granddaughters; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Flora 
Kent-Moore; a daughter-in-law, Rosa Craddock; and a host of other relatives and 
friends. 

A funeral will be held at noon Friday in Fellowship COGIC, 721 E. 29th St., 
Elder George Cooke will officiate. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery , 
Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 2412 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. one 
hour prior to the service for the procession to the church. The family will 
receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. today and Thursday at the home. Metropolitan 
Funeral Service, Granby Chapel, is in charge. Condolences may be offered to the
