Kerns, wife of A.J. Kerns, daughter of Robert D. and the late Kate Williamson, died at 9:30 o'clock last night at the family residence, 208 E. Bute Street. She was 33 years old. Mrs. Kerns was a native of Virginia and had been a resident of Norfolk practically during her entire life. She was a member of the Freemason Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Kerns is survived by three children, Estelle, Gertrude and Lillian Kerns, three sisters, Mrs. C.K. White and Misses Jennie and Bessie Williamson. The funeral arrangements have not been completed. ****************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Daisy P. Kerns, wife of A.J. Kerns, who died Tuesday night, will take place at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the family residence, 208 East Bute street. Services will be conducted by Rev. S.W. Melton and Rev. Dr. Vernon I'Anson. Kerns, wife of A.J. Kerns, took place at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family residence, 208 E. Bute Street. Services were conducted by Rev. Dr. S.W. Melton of Freemason Street Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Dr. Vernon I'Anson of Grace Baptist Church. Many handsome floral designs were received. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were: J.E. Morrisette, H.F. Pacini, William Rackley, Grover Gray, B. Everline and Mr. Smith.
