Kersey, who died Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at the family residence, 35 Eighteenth Street, after a brief illness was conducted from the residence yesterday afternoon. Rev. D.A. Keyes, pastor of the South Norfolk Christian Church, officiated and the interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. The deceased was a native of North Carolina, who had been a resident of South Norfolk five years. She was 51 years old and was the wife of George W. Kersey and in addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, E.L Kersey, Miss Lillie Bell Kersey and Mrs. Maud Gregory. The pallbearers were: J.W. Rogers, F.M. Smith, A.B. Hanbury, Claud Hanbury, B.G. Hodges and L.
