Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 24, 1952

Eugene John Kessel, 76, a native of Michigan, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday 
at 1:05 a.m. He is survived by two daughters, Miss May Kessel, of Baltimore and 
Mrs. D.C. Scoff, of Williamsburg; one son, Eugene Ervin Kessel, of Norfolk; 12 
grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary Thomas, of London, Ontario.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.
