Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, February 4, 1996 
NORFOLK - Alexander G. Kettrell, of the 900 block of St. Julian Ave., died Jan.
31, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General.

Mr. Kettrell, a truck driver, worked for Saunder Provisions. He was the widower
of Esette Kettrell and a native of Princess Anne County. He was a member of New
Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Survivors include a son, James Kettrell of Norfolk; five sisters, Marjorie S.
Williams, Mary A. Harris, Minnie O. Wingate, all of Norfolk, and Earlene E.
Jackson and Sarah M. Glover, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; seven grandsons; and two
granddaughters.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at New Calvary Baptist Church by
the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery . The remains will be
ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The remains will be taken to the church at 9
a.m. Monday. The family will assemble at 553 Nicholson St. at 10 a.m. for the
procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
