Norfolk Virginian July 21, 1893
KEVILL – Yesterday afternoon at 2:20 o’clock, at the summer residence of her son-
in-law, Mrs. James E. Allen, Virginia Beach, after a long illness, Mrs. A. L., 
beloved wife of Capt. Thos. Kevill, in the 59th year of her age.
Her funeral will take place TOMORROW (Friday) MORNING at 10 o’clock from St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church, at which time and place friends and acquaintances of the 
family are requested to attend.




Additional Comments:
The newspaper accounts are conflicting.  From one, she died on Wednesday, the 
19th, with her funeral on Thursday, the 20th, so her date of death is not given 
here.
