Virginian-Pilot  September 29, 1887
The funeral of the late Thomas Kevill took place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church 
yesterday morning at 9 o’clock and was attended by a large number of friends of 
the deceased and the Typographical Union, of which he was a member.
The services, including a requiem mass, were conducted by Rev. Father Doherty, 
assisted by Rev. Father Hanley, after which the remains were borne to the 
Catholic Cemetery and interred. Pall bearers:
Printers - A. B. Rawlett and John Dashield.
Citizens - J. M. Callinan, W. B. Langley, Joseph Porter, P. J. Murray, Gordon 
DeCordy and W. T. Anderson.
The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful.
