Thomas Kevill sits in the shadow of a great sorrow today. Death has crossed the threshold and carried away in its cold embrace the wife and mother, and loving hearts are overwhelmed with grief. The death of this estimable lady occurred at Virginia Beach yesterday afternoon, where she had gone with the hope of regaining her health and although she had been ill for some time, it was not believed that the end was so near. In fact, the hope was that the invigorating breeze of the ocean and the best medical attention, coupled with the loving care of her devoted family, would prolong her life, if indeed not restore her to health, but alas, suddenly and unexpectedly the summons came and her spirit returned to the bosom of her God who gave it. Who can measure the depth of a mother's love, or the loss of a mother's care? The subject of this notice was the beloved wife of Capt. Thomas Kevill, the mother of Mrs. M. Glennan and Mrs. James E. Allen, whom she leaves, together with two sons, to mourn her loss. She was a lady of a beautiful Christian character and all who read this notice will be pained to hear of her death. Her remains will be brought from the Beach this morning and at 10 o'clock tomorrow (Friday) morning her funeral will take place from St. Mary's Catholic Church. ************************************************************************** KEVILL – Yesterday afternoon at 2:20 o’clock, at the summer residence of her son-in-law, Mrs. James E.
