Keys died at her residence, 408 West Redgate Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3:35 in the 73rd year of age, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Keys was a native of Nansemond County, Virginia and had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years. She is survived by her husband M. F. Keys; two brothers, George D and Robert C. Wilkerson, of Nansemond County, and a number of nieces and nephews. Her sister Mrs. S. F. Branch died recently. Mrs. Keys was a member of St. Paul’s P.E. Church, and was well known and highly esteemed. The funeral will be held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock and the services will be conducted by Rev. H.H. Covington, rector of St. Paul’s Church, and Rev. Stuart Nye Hutchinson, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
