Virginian-Pilot December 17, 1934
Mrs. Marie A. Kibler, wife of Dr. R. B. Kibler and daughter of the late Dr. Eli 
and Sarah Anatois Cuthriell (sic), died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 
2:30 o'clock. Mrs. Kibler was a native of Norfolk and, for the past 30 years, 
had resided at Pinners Point. She is survived by one niece, Mrs. L. M. Luke, of 
Sewanee, Tenn., and three nephews, Harry H. Trice and C. V. W. Trice, both of 
Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at H. D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East 
Freemason street, this afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, 
D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Kibler was a 
consistent member, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Friends 
are requested by the family to omit flowers.
