Virginian Pilot January 5, 1910

Robert A. Kidd died at his home "Kimball Terrace," Chesterfield Heights, at 3:15 
o'clock a.m. yesterday after a prolonged illness in the 43d year of his age.
The deceased was a native of Petersburg, but had resided in this section for 
some years. He is survived by a widow and eight children, six boys and two 
girls; also his mother, Mrs. W.H. Burnette, of Petersburg and the following 
brothers and sisters: C.J. Kidd, of Norfolk; F.O. Kidd, of Danville, E.B. Kidd, 
J.C, Kidd and D.M. Kidd, all of Richmond; T.F. Kidd, J.A. Kidd and Miss Millie 
A. Kidd, all of Petersburg.
The funeral will be held from his late residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon and 
will be conducted by the Rev. R. Finley Gayle, of the Cumberland Street 
Methodist Church. The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
