Virginian-Pilot October 17, 1923
Mrs. Margaret Frances Kight, wife of T. B. Kight, died at the residence, 
Merrimac apartments, Boush and Freemason streets, yesterday morning at 4:30 
o'clock after a long illness. She was 70 years old, was a native of Camden 
County, N.C., and had lived here for the last 42 years. She was a member of 
Freemason Street Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Kight is survived by one son, Dr. R. S. Kight, and two 
daughters, Mrs. J. E. Morrisette and Mrs. Lillie K. Kelley, all of Norfolk; a 
sister, Mrs J. R. Lassiter, of Gates County, N.C., and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at noon tomorrow by the Rev. 
Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, and burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
