Virginian Pilot August 10, 1983

Blanche Smith Kight, 78, of 4847 Norvella Ave., a native of Princess Anne County 
and the widow of Robert Lee Kight, died Tuesday in a hospital.
She was a member of Norview Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Dorieas K. Roig of Virginia Beach; a sister, 
Annette S. Morrell of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Smith and Williams Funeral 
Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Joel L. Morgan.  Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the 
sister's home, 3719 Hyde Circle.
