Virginian-Pilot  May 21 & 22, 1939
Edward Patrick Kilfara, husband of Mrs. Margaret Connelly Kilfara, formerly of 
Norfolk, died yesterday morning at 4 o’clock in Chester, Pa., it was learned 
here. Mr. Kilfara was 50 years old. The body will be brought here for burial and 
funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Edward Patrick Kilfara, a former resident of Norfolk, who died in Chester, Pa., 
Saturday, is survived by his wife, one daughter, Miss Elizabeth Kilfara, and a 
son, Edward Kilfara. Funeral services will be held in the Church of the 
Resurrection, in Chester, tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. The body will be 
brought to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, and taken 
to St. Mary’s Cemetery for interment Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock.
