Kilgore, took place at 10:30 a.m. today from the parents’ residence, No. 28 Outten Street, Huntersville, Rev. Vernon F. Anson, D.D., of the Grace Baptist Church; rev. T.J. Taylor, of the Queen Street Methodist Church, and the Rev. Wm. G. Starr, D.D., of the Cumberland Street Methodist, officiating. During the service Janie Bell, a little girl from the Grace Baptist Church, sang “Sometime We’ll Understand.” There were handsome floral tributes. The interment was in Elmwood, the pall-bearers being little boys from the Grace Baptist Church, and it’s Huntersville Mission. This little girl was the sister of Baxter Kilgore, the little lad who was drowned a few weeks ago.
