The Virginia Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Thursday September 13, 1928
Mrs. Louise Walke King, aged 44, died suddenly at her residence, 111 West 
Nineteenth street, yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock.  She is survived by a 
daughter, Miss Doris Louise King; a son, J. Edward King; her stepmother, 
Mrs. A. Walke; three sisters, Mrs. S.H. Cotter and Mrs. Thomas B. Hopkins, 
of Havre de Grace, Md., and Mrs. Norman Guy, of Providence, R.I., and two 
brothers, Anthony and Wallace Walke, of Dublin, Ga.  Mrs. King was a native 
and lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal 
Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
corner Twenty-ninth and Granby streets, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
