Norfolk - Allen King, 51, of 2405 Jamaica Ave. died Tuesday in a Norfolk 
hospital. 

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late Richard and Mrs. Lula King and 
the husband of Mrs. Julia King.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and employed by Atlantic 
Hotel.

Besides his widow, surviving are two sons, Donald King and Allen King of 
Norfolk;  a daughter, Mrs. Delores Whisenant of Columbus, Ohio;  and a 
sister, Mrs. Louise K. Gray, and a brother, Richard King Jr.,  both of 
Norfolk.

The Rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Church.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
