Mrs. Dolly King of 2902 Liberia Drive, died Oct. 21 at 5 a.m. in a local 
hospital at the age of 47.  She ws the daughter of the late Richard and Mrs. 
Bettie Parker of Tarboro, NC and she lived in Norfolk twenty-two years.

Mrs. King was a member of the Roberts Park Garden club and the Gay No. 12 
Social and Saving Club.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry and Richard Woodhouse;  and two 
daughters, Misses Bettie Odarise Woodhouse. (only one daughter listed in the 
newspaper)

Services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 24, from the Hale Funeral Chapel with 
the Rev. Samuel A. Wilson, pastor of New Calvary Baptist Church where the 
decesed held membership, in charge.

Burial was in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery.  Hale Funeral Home 
handled arrangements.
