Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 6, 2010
NORFOLK - Norma Lorraine King , 85, answered her call Jan. 1, 2010. She was 
born in Fairfield, N.C., to the late Fanny and David King . She was 
predeceased by her sons, Larry and Michael King ; siblings, Thomas King and 
Ann J. Cullen. 

Survivors are her daughter, Sabrah A. (Godwin) Mitchell and sons, Alphonso 
(Linda G.) King , Ronald (Linda B.) King ; sisters, Carolyn Mitchell and 
Mary Ward; brothers, Freddie and David King ; six grandchildren, seven 
great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. 

Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday in 
Riddick Funeral Home, 1225 Norview Ave., Norfolk. The family will assemble 
at 10 a.m. Friday at 6452 Clare Road, Norfolk. A homegoing service will be 
held at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 201 Patrick St., Norfolk at 11 a.m. 
Friday. Condolences may be offered at www.riddickfuneralservices.com
