Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - May 9, 1992
Richard E. "Spud" King, 67, of the 3600 block of Amherst St., died May 8, 1992, in 
a hospital. 
Mr. King was born in Norfolk. He was the widow of Ethel Ann King. 
Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Church of Chesapeake and Vivian Smith of 
Suffolk; a son, Richard T. King of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mary Copeland of 
Hertford, N.C.; and five grandchildren. 
The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-
Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
