Mrs. King, the widow of David A. King Sr., was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street, where she served as secretary of the Dorcas Class. Survivors include four daughters, Joanne K. Giddens of Houston, Texas, Ann K. Dooms and Juanita F. King, both of Virginia Beach, and Pamela K. Jackson of Norfolk; two sons, David A. King Jr. of Virginia Beach and Jerald F. King of Houston; four sisters, Evelyn F. Pegram of Petersburg, Mildred F. Marrow of New York City, and Marie F. Carey and Lucy F. Taylor, both of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, the Rev. James F. Fields of Charleston, S.C., Moses W. Fields of St. Albany, N.C., and Richard T. Fields of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by Dr. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday in Hale Funeral Home.
