Mrs. King, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Jerome Danforth King. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church and the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities. She was a former member of the First Lutheran Church, Norfolk, and a former charter member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Norfolk. Survivors include three daughters, Hope Reese of Williamsburg, Amy Swindell of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Barbara Bosse of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church by the Rev. H. Benton Lutz. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Bucktrout Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
