King, aged about 55 years, who lived in the family of former Policeman Eugene S. Taylor, at 69 York Place, died while en route to St. Vincent's Hospital in an ambulance yesterday afternoon. Her death was caused by a dose of morphine, taken, it is presumed, with suicidal intent. Just before her death, she was sent to the police station on a warrant for lunacy. Her mind became unbalanced several days ago, it is said. Mrs. King had lived in Norfolk about fifteen years as a housekeeper for various families. Her original home was North Carolina. The funeral will take place at 11 o'clock this morning from the undertaking parlors of H. D. Oliver, on Freemason street.
