Mr. King was the son of the late Danfort and Mrs. Laura Carr King, a native of Portsmouth and a resident of Norfolk for the past 17 years. He was in the employ of V.E. & P. Co., at the time of his death. Surviving, besides his wife, are four daughters, the Misses Hope Elizabeth, Ruth Lesner, Amy Agusta and Barbara Ann King, all of Norfolk, and two uncles, Jerome Carr and Dr. George Carr, of Portsmouth. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Derry Funeral Chapel, corner of Colley and Harrington Avenues. The Rev. L.W. Strickler, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. W.W. Williford, secretary of the V.E. &P. Co. Y.M.C.A. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
