Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 7, 1918

Bonaparte P. King died suddenly at his residence, 537 Poole Street, Saturday 
afternoon at 6 o'clock. He was 50 years old, very well known and highly esteemed. 
He is survived by his wife, one son, J.W. King of Norfolk and one brother, James 
King of Garfield, N.J. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock 
at the residence and will be conducted by Rev. Lee G. Crutchfield of LeKies 
Memorial Methodist Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
