She was the daughter of the late James E. Parr and Mrs. Frances Simpson Parr. Mrs. King is survived by three sons, Joseph E. Porter, New York; Francis M. Roberts and Daniel D. Roberts, both of Pensacola, Fla.; and three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. E. F. Seltzer, Mrs. M. L. Smith, Mrs. Janie C. Bartol and Mrs. Annie Mae Miexel, all of Norfolk; seven brothers, Claude J. Parr, William J. Parr, George W. Parr, Edwin T. Parr and Lawrence F. Parr, of Norfolk; Thomas G. Parr, of Richmond, and Daniel S. Parr, of Boston, The body will be brought to the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Ruth Parr King - Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Parr King, who died in a Boston hospital, will be conducted in the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
