NORFOLK - Mrs. Martha Agnes King, 88, of 3515 Elmore Place, the widow of Joseph 
King and a native of New York City, died Tuesday morning in her home.
She retired from the City of New York as a clerk and lived here for five years.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and its Woman’s Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Regina Decoux of Norfolk and Mrs. Margaret 
Shields of Lincroft, N.J.; three sisters, Mrs. John Cullen and Mrs. Thomas 
Cullen of Brooklyn, and Sister Mary Jseph of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.; 11 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Christ the 
King Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. J. Michael Breslin. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
