Sarah L. King of the 3900 block of Shooting Star Drive, died Jan. 11, 2004. 

Born in Edenton, N.C., she was the daughter of the late John and Mamie Dillard 
and the widow of Thomas King Sr. She was a member of Queen Street Baptist 
Church. 

Survivors include three daughters, Mable Perez and husband Genaro, Deanna Percy 
and husband Lorenza and Odessa Parker; two sons, Thomas King Jr. and wife 
Denise, James King and wife Claudette; a sister, Bessie Jordan; 37 
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and 
friends. 

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Queen Street Baptist Church by 
the Rev. Peter Wherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be held 
from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed 
in church at 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends at the
