Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 20, 1990 
Robert C. King, 36, of the 100 block of Brooke Ave., died Oct. 18, 1990, in a 
hospital. 
Mr. King was a native of Richmond. 
Survivors include a son, John A. King of North Carolina; his mother, Grace 
Newland of Richmond; his father, Otis T. King of Emporia; a sister, Brenda 
Hardison of Norfolk; and a brother, the Rev. Julian King of Ahoskie. 
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Magnolia Cemetery 
by the Rev. Julian King. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is 
handling arrangements.
