Norfolk Journal and Guide, June 7, 1975
Norfolk - David Armistead King Sr. of 2918 Gazel St., the husband of Mrs.
Geraldine King and native of Norfolk, died Wednesday, May 28 in a hospital.

He was a son of Mrs. Viola Ann King.

He worked for the Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Board 15 years.

Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Giddens, Mrs. Ann Dooms, Miss
Pamela E. King, and Miss Juanita F. King, and two sons, David A. King Jr., and
Jerald F. King, all of Norfolk;  seven grandchilren;  and two aunts.

A funeral service was held Saturday, May 31 in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the
Rev. E. Paul Simms.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
