Kirby, life long resident of Berkley, died yesterday morning at 6 o'clock at his home in Cummer street after a lingering illness of about ten years. He was operated on, but without success, first about six years ago; second and third times last July and August, when the right limb was amputated. He was 29 years of age and leaves a widow, three children, a father, Capt. W.H. Kirby and a brother, John H. Kirby, all of whom are residents of this city. When the deceased was able to work he was employed at the Fosburg's Lumber company. The funeral will be conducted from Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
