Virginian Pilot Wednesday December 26, 1956

Walter Carroll Kirby, 69, son of Walter Silas and Mrs. Mary Lee Seemer Kirby, 
died Monday in Washington.
Mr. Kirby was a native of Talbot County, Md., a former resident of Norfolk, and 
had been a resident of Washington for the past 30 years.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bryarly Munnikhuysen, of West Englewood, 
N.J. and Mrs. Heywood Tatem Sr., of Virginia Beach.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Elmwood 
Cemetery for services at the grave tomorrow at noon, conducted by the Rev. 
Edmund Berkeley, rector of Galilee Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach.
