Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 29, 1913

KIRBY - At the residence 58 Walnut street, Thursday afternoon June 26, 1913, 
at 4 o'clock, Mrs. MATTIE CARROLL KIRBY, widow of G.H. Kirby and daughter of 
Nathan and Mrs. Sandra Jones, of Smithfield, Va., aged 59 years.
The funeral services will be conducted at the Armstrong Memorial 
Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Mr. Christian of Brambleton, at 4 o'clock 
SUNDAY AFTERNOON.  Friends of family invited to attend. Burial in Magnolia 
Cemetery, Berkley.

The funeral of Mrs. Mattie Carroll Kirby, who died at her home in Walnut 
Street Thursday, will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock and will be 
conducted by Rev. Mr. Christian, pastor of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, 
assisted by Rev. James D. Gibson, pastor of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
