NORFOLK - Lee M. Kirksey of 3131 Westminster Ave., a native of Mobile, Ala., and 
the husband of Virginia Kirksey, died Saturday in a hospital. He was a son of 
Hannah Lee Kirksey.

He was a retired, 10-year employee of the city of Norfolk and also had retired 
from Shoney's Restaurants after nine years. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of 
Jehovah's Witnesses, Ingleside Road.

Other survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Kirksey and Fannie Joyner, and two 
sisters, Evelyn Gonzales and Irene Smith, all of Norfolk; four brothers, Jimmy 
Kirksey, Johnny Kirksey, Willie Kirksey and T. J. Kirksey, all of Boston; and 
four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's 
Witnesses by brother Charles Welch. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with 
Graves Funeral Home in charge. The family will be at his home.
