Virginia Pilot October 1, 1908
Mrs. Ruby Kirkwood, wife of James Kirkwood, a three-months' bride, died yesterday 
morning at 11 o'clock after a brief illness, at the family residence in Seaboard 
avenue, South Norfolk.  She was a daughter of Mrs. Powell of Berkley ward, and 
nearly 18 years old.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock and 
the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
