Virginian-Pilot September 5, 1935
Mrs. Elizabeth Whitehurst Kitzmiller, aged 30, daughter of Mrs. A. E. Pitts, of 
1000 Villa Circle, died Tuesday night at 9:30 o'clock in Richmond.
Mrs. Kitzmiller was the daughter of Mrs. Pitts and the late Paul Ballentine 
Whitehurst. Surviving, besides her mother, are her husband, Horace B. Kitzmiller; 
one daughter, Joanne Lee Kitzmiller; her stepfather, Edwin A. Pitts; an aunt, Mrs. 
Lenora Watson McCabe, of Jacksonville, Fla., and three step-brothers, Edwin H. 
Pitts, of Norfolk, and Lynwood A. and Vernon L. Pitts, of Los Angeles.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Villa Circle residence this afternoon at 
4 o'clock by a Christian Science reader. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
