Kline, aged 69, one of Berkley's well-known residents who lived here for 50 years, died yesterday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock in a local hospital after several months of declining health. He was a bachelor, lived a seafaring life and made his home when in town at 415 Pendleton Street. He was a native of Cumberland County, Pa. and came here with his parents, John W. and Mrs. Margaret Pender Kline, his father being master of a sailing craft, when he was 19. Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. Clara Williams, Princess Anne County and Mrs. Elizabeth B. Holland, Hampton, and two nieces and two nephews. The body was taken to the funeral home of J.R. Williams, 1027 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
